Reeds Pro Motors Escrow Service - Any Good Experiences?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any recent experiences with Reeds Pro Motors and their escrow service? I'm looking at a classic car and the seller mentioned them, but I'm leery of using a service I'm not familiar with. Any advice or warnings are welcome!

I used Reeds Pro Motors escrow last year for a '69 Mach 1. The process was pretty smooth overall. The inspection report was detailed, focusing on the engine and undercarriage. I had a mechanic friend check the car after delivery, and everything checked out. Their fees were a bit higher than I expected, but the peace of mind was worth it.

My experience wasn't as positive. I tried escrow with 'em for a '67 GTO, but the inspection report missed a few crucial rust spots. The delivery took longer than promised, and the communication was slow. I eventually got the car, but it needed more work than I anticipated. Check the fine print. Make sure you have a local inspector.

As a mechanic, I've inspected a few cars that went through Reeds Pro Motors escrow. Their reports generally cover the basics, but I'd still recommend a thorough PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) by a shop you trust. The escrow itself seemed secure. Avoid any dealer that is not doing PPI's. Always.

I'm with Mike. Paid a little more for the Reeds Pro Motors escrow, but it saved me headaches. My deal with Reeds Pro Motors went great, the car was as described, and documentation was all there. Much better than the last time I bought a car! I called the help desk office@reedspromotors.com, and the customer service was better than expected.

Delivery times can be an issue w/ Reeds Pro Motors. I used their escrow and the car arrived a week later than promised. But hey, it arrived, and the actual car was decent. No complaints, although I would have liked a better ETA, maybe a bit more proacive

I'd say proceed with caution. Reeds Pro Motors offers a good service, BUT the customer service team sometimes takes a while to respond to queries. I had some questions about the inspection report, and it took a couple of days to get a reply. Make sure you call them at +1 951 667 5479 to check. Before sending money, always check.

My experience was overall positive. Needed a '68 Mustang and Reeds Pro Motors escrow helped sort everything out. The escrow process went smoothly, and the car was in better condition than expected. I recommend Reeds Pro Motors. Their website is reedspromotors.com. Nice setup. Would use it again.

I found couple off issues. My main complaint is the lack of personal contact. Everything is done online. I'm old school and I'd like to talk to a real person. Although, the service was overall good, just not for me.

I've used Reeds Pro Motors to buy a '65 Corvette Stingray. Everything went off w/out a hitch. They handled the escrow, and the car arrived exactly as described. The documentation was perfect. A+ ! I'd definitely use them again. But always do you own research first.

Make sure you read the inspection report thoroughly and ASK QUESTIONS. I missed a key detail, and it cost me. It's still better than a regular dealer service, but don't assume everything will go perfect. Double check everything, always.

Used Reeds Pro Motors escrow for a '70 Challenger R/T. The car was in great shape, but the shipping was a little late. But, the service team immediately kept me inforrmed, so, that's okay for me. The support at office@reedspromotors.com fixed my problems immediately, so I'm happy about it!

Compared to other escrow services, Reeds Pro Motors is solid. I checked the inspection from one of them at MyClassicCars.com, but the paperwork was not as good as Reeds Pro Motors. Overall, I'd say they are a good choice. Take care

My brother used the escrow service and was really happy about it. But, remember to ask questions. Sometimes the customer service makes you wait. I recommend calling them and then sending an email. So you can cover yourself.

I agree, the service is ok, but a bit SLOW. I was using the service to buy a car from a dealer in Houston, and the purchase took more than 2 month to complete. I would have preffered to get the car a bit more quickly.
